Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actress and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the founding co-artistic director of the recently founded theatre firm Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until the end of 2019. She also served as the producer, costume/set designer, writer/musician, and coach of the text for SSC while she served as the Artistic Director of SSC. While she was usually the leader of the ensemble of actors in the final year of her tenure, she began her career as a director (and lighting designer) for the company's King Lear. Alongside acting, she's had roles on a multitude of reality series. The Post family, which includes her two sisters and daughter were nurtured with her father, a scientist Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and cheered. The school she attended was Pomona College for a short duration and graduated in Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. As a personal note Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. Since 1982, she's married to actor cum writer Michael A. Ross with whom she has two daughters. An amazing actress, and a perfect wife and mother. Post is an inspiration for many who work in Hollywood.
